Practice Overview

Here at East Atlanta Animal Clinic, our goal, is to provide top-quality care in a compassionate, collaborative, and innovative working environment. We do this by fostering an environment that has a high ratio of support staff to each doctor, a team-mentality working culture, and a healthy work-life balance. We offer our staff a 4-day work week, continuing education opportunities, and as well as team outings. What You’ll Be Working On

  • Greet clients, answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and setup new clients and patients; monitor daily schedule and flow
  • Able to convert cold calls and warm leads into new client visits
  • Responsible for payment processing and ensuring accurate client medical records
  • Exhibit attentiveness, patience, and compassion while working with clients and patients in various emotional states
  • Assist in cleaning the clinic, which includes ensuring the reception area is stocked, clean and welcoming
  • Maintaining a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree or equivalent years of experience working in the field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years working in a customer service role in a medical or veterinary office setting required
  • Prior experience in the veterinary industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of standard industry terminology and pet care products
  • Demonstrate critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Word
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
