Acupressure

Acupressure is different from acupuncture in that there are no needles used to stimulate the acupoint. It is accomplished with gentle but firm pressure or massaging with the fingers of the point. Sometimes this is necessary in areas where a needle may be dangerous or if there is a skin infection in the area of the specific point to be stimulated.
