Practice Overview

Here at East Atlanta Animal Clinic, our goal, is to provide top-quality care in a compassionate, collaborative, and innovative working environment. We do this by fostering an environment that has a high ratio of support staff to each doctor, a team ­mentality working culture, and a healthy work-life balance. We offer our staff a 4-day work week, continuous education opportunities, and as well as team outings. What You’ll Be Working On

  • Engaging and communicating with clients and staff
  • Getting and maintaining patient information and records
  • Perform basic care for patients that do not require a veterinarian or technician assistance
  • Assist the doctor or technician with patient treatments, procedures, and activities
  • Assist in maintaining hospital cleanliness, prepping exam rooms. and supply inventory management
  • Support receptionist with answering phones, triaging calls, and checking out clients
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience working in the field prefer
  • 3 years of experience working in a veterinary practice required
  • Experience with animal restraint, venipuncture, and x-ray positioning is required
  • Experience in recording patient history and updating records required
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Word
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
